The Scheduling Office will review your request and assign a location on campus that best meets your need based on date, time, and location availability. The Scheduling Office will take into consideration your production and technology needs, and will schedule venues in conjunction with COVID-19 requirements.

SUMMER 2022 PERFORMANCE HALL AND REHEARSAL ROOM UPDATE
Rehearsal Rooms
Rehearsal rooms/classrooms will be available for use on the following schedule for the following groups:

From Monday, August 15, through the start of the fall 2022 semester; available to continuing and incoming students.

Rehearsal rooms will be available Monday through Friday during NEC's building hours, based on venue availability.

The NEC Help Desk will be available for walk in questions and assistance Monday through Thursday, 9am-5pm.
Performance Halls and Self-Recording Systems
Performance halls and access to NEC's self-recording systems will be limited to the following schedule for the following groups.

Self-use recording equipment in performance halls is available at student discretion only. RPTS is not available to provide trainings, support, or to respond to questions or concerns on use of equipment.
The button below may be used to request spaces in performance halls, classrooms, and other spaces on campus for the purposes of lessons, chamber music coachings, performances, and other events. Do not use this process for recital requests or practice room requests.
GENERAL USE RESERVATIONS
NEC practice rooms are available for use by current students, faculty, and staff by reservation only. To reserve practice rooms for individual use, please follow the instructions listed on Practice Room Reservation webpage.
PRACTICE ROOM RESERVATIONS
We are pleased to offer student recital scheduling for the Spring 2023 semester, and we invite you to place your request for preferred recital dates, times, and locations. At this time recitals are limited to degree-required recitals only. Due to venue availability limitations, optional recitals will not be scheduled at this time.
All recitals are required to conform to distancing, duration, and venue restrictions based on COVID-19 health and safety standards. All recitals are limited to 90 minutes of performance time maximum, without intermission.
Recitals must be reserved a minimum of 4 weeks in advance of your preferred recital date. All recital requests will be honored on a first come, first served basis. Every effort will be made to honor your date, time, and location requests.

Production, Recording, and Technology Services
All scheduling reservations require separate confirmation for production needs, recording services, or technology expectations. These elements are not automatically available in all spaces on campus, nor are they automatically provided. Confirmation of a scheduling request does not include confirmation of these extra services. Please contact the following departments for more information.
- Production Services, for information on instrument use, piano services, room setup, and other event needs.
- Recording and Performance Technology Services (RPTS), for information on audio/visual recording, live streaming, PA and amplification, and all performance hall technology needs.
- Tech Central, for information on classroom technology including Zoom, audio, video, livestreaming, and low latency equipment.
